Volunteers Graduations
Many of our distinguished lead and support volunteers graduated this summer. We could be there, cheer their names, and root for them as they stepped on stage. They have indeed graduated now, and we wish them all the best in the rest of their journey to reach their dreams. They will remain an important part of our big family, and we will always be just a call away.
Pantry Exciting News
Have you ever been to the college shop to get some free groceries? Well, I want to inform you that now we have some new exciting items. (Drum Rollssss…) We have added tuna, flour, salt, and spaghetti. So keep an eye out for our new items next time you come for your collection.
Tell us: Is there any other item you think we should have in the Pantry?
And that’s not all the exciting news! Sanitary products will be added to the pantry from the next registration, and you can have them as your 11th item. So don’t forget to collect them next time.
Breakfast Club
It’s summer, campus is quiet, but we are continuing to serve breakfast every Monday to Friday. So, if you fancy a bowl of cereal for breakfast or just a morning snack, you know where to find us. (Just in case you’re new: in the Union building, next to the enquiry center.)
Tell us: Do you have any memories with the Breakfast Club?
New Event
Our volunteering program will start a new event soon. We are collecting clothes and will give them for free to students. So, if you want to clean out your closet or make some room for your upcoming shopping, please donate those clothes to us. You can drop them off at the College Shop every Monday and Friday from 4 to 6 PM. If you want more information, feel free to drop me an email at ppourmohammad@dusa.co.uk.
Volunteer of the Month
I am more than happy to announce that from now on, we are going to have a Volunteer of the Month in our newsletter. This month, our volunteer is (Drum Rolls again…):
Mr. Godday (Hooray!)
He leads our delivery every Wednesday, and not just that, he offers chocolate during his shifts and even took the craziest pics last month. Keep the flag flying, Godday!
