Message from Your Student Executive: Response to Violent Events Across the UK and Available Support

Hello everyone,  

The ongoing recent racist, xenophobic, and Islamophobic rioting across the UK is appalling behaviour to witness and will have affected members of our community. We understand you might feel distressed, worried, and upset and we want to remind you all that there is support in place, so please reach out to us!  

The University of Dundee is home to students and staff from across the world and from a range of different backgrounds. We are immensely proud to serve an incredibly diverse student body and want to reaffirm our commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all our students and staff.  

On Campus Reporting 

At DUSA, we stand united against any form of bullying, hate, harassment, and racism. Both DUSA and the University’s Enquiry Centre are third party hate crime and incident reporting sites. Please reach out if needed.
