DUSA’s CEO, Cheryl-Ann Cruickshank is moving on to take up a role with the National Children’s Charity, Action for Children. Her last day at DUSA will be Friday 12th July.
“I have been presented with an exciting opportunity to return to working with children and young people, which is an area of work I am very passionate about. It has been an incredible honour to lead DUSA and to work with such a vibrant and talented team of people. I am delighted to be joining the Action for Children Team, in Scotland. I look forward to being in the service of children, for safe and happy childhoods. I wish DUSA and Chris well, in all future endeavours”

Trustees have appointed DUSA’s current Head of Operations (Student Experience), Chris Gourley as Acting CEO. Chris brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of DUSA’s work.
“I am delighted to have the opportunity to step into the role of Acting CEO at DUSA. I first joined DUSA as a student member of staff and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and seeing the contribution that DUSA brings to the student community. As we move forward, I am committed to continuing our mission of enhancing the student experience and supporting our vibrant community. I wish Cheryl-Ann all the best in her new role with Action for Children and look forward to building on the strong foundation she has established at DUSA.”
