Speakeasy support group is a student and DUSA staff volunteer-led initiative that provides community members (both students and staff) with a safe, confidential and informal space that encourages but does not pressure members to speak about their well-being.
Speakeasy is a peer support group that is not a therapy or counselling service. It is simply a space for you to share anything you would like to and to seek guidance for your well-being journey if desired.Â
Speakeasy is not currently operating and we hope to make a return soon!
The more we talk, the less stigma remains. By breaking the silence around mental health and well-being, we create an environment where seeking help is a sign of strength.
Every conversation about wellbeing contributes to a more compassionate and connected world. How about we start with just one conversation?
