The Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCA) is an annual event celebrating the hard work of higher education providers across the United Kingdom.  Each year, their review collectors collate over 35,000 verified reviews both on campuses across the country and online using the whatuni.com website.

Their verified reviews come from over 150 higher education institutions in the UK meaning that nearly all the tertiary education sector leadership and marketing teams have their eyes pinned on the outcomes of the Whatuni Student Choice Awards.

The results and the findings are central to the Whatunibrand – giving students honest, unbiased data to make the right choices about their future.

CEO of DUSA, Cheryl-Ann Cruickshank, said,

‘‘We are thrilled to have been shortlisted as being one of the Top 10 Student Unions in the UK.  Whilst it comes as no surprise to us, it’s incredible to be recognised for the work we do to make sure our students have the best possible experience whilst at the University of Dundee and leave with the skillset and mindset to take forward into their future careers and lives. This really is testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone employed by DUSA who go above and beyond daily to make that happen.’’

Dimitris Vidakis, President at DUSA, added,

“Whether hosting events, creating the space for the exchange of ideas, or supporting students to do this themselves through our 200 plus clubs and societies, DUSA contributes immensely to the much-valued charity sector. We stand for charity in its most literal sense – we are about changing lives and helping our students to thrive.  We are a role model for student associations and it’s fantastic to be able to maintain our outstanding reputation for performing with excellence when it comes to delivering an amazing student experience.’’

The awards ceremony takes place in London on 24 May where Richard Ayoade, a multi-award-winning comedian, actor, writer and director will announce the overall winners across all categories.
