Student Representative Council (SRC) Restructure
This year, the SRC looks a little different. We’ve had some students reach out with questions about the restructure, so we want to explain what’s changed and why.
We are pleased to announce the successful candidates for the recent SRC co-options. The following individuals have been elected to represent their respective positions:
Women’s Rep: Funmilyao Owa
BME Rep: Adeleye Zainab
Student Parent Rep: Kolev Oggy
Facilities Rep: Rafat Ahmed Imtiaz
Despite the success in several positions, we regret to inform you that the positions for Kirkcaldy, Research PG, and Trans and Non-binary representatives remain unfilled. The final round of co-options will take place for those remaining positions at the upcoming SRC meeting on 14 of November 17:30-19:30.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the elected candidates and look forward to their valuable contributions to the SRC. We thank all the candidates and students who participated in this important process, demonstrating their commitment to enhancing the student experience at DUSA.

DUSA Volunteers are more than just a group of individuals working together – it’s a family where students find a sense of belonging and discover the true value of community.
The University of Dundee has advised us that, due to its own financial difficulties, there will be a 34% reduction in funding to your Students’ Association this year.
We are heartbroken by the tragic death of Dr Fortune Gomo, a graduate of our university who made her home here in Dundee. We stand with Dr Gomo’s family during this unimaginable loss. Fortune, you will not be forgotten.
