
Student Representative Council (SRC) Restructure
This year, the SRC looks a little different. We’ve had some students reach out with questions about the restructure, so we want to explain what’s changed and why.
Premier @ DUSA has emerged victorious at the prestigious Scottish Groceries Awards- winning the Sustainability Champion and Best Soft Drinks Retailer of the Year award in a highly competitive category. This award demonstrates Premier @ DUSA’s commitment to excellence and recognises the outstanding efforts of the team in providing top-notch services to the university community.
The Scottish Groceries Awards acknowledge businesses that excel in various aspects of the grocery and retail industry, and Premier @ DUSA has proven to be a standout performer. Premier Shop, a hub for convenience and quality products on campus, has been celebrated for its dedication to customer satisfaction, innovative and sustainable product offerings, and overall contribution to enhancing the student experience.
In extending congratulations to the Premier @ DUSA team, Chris Gourley, Head of Operations at DUSA, expressed enthusiasm and pride, stating, “It’s been inspiring for me to watch the team continue to grow and develop and make our customers smile, all thanks to your dedication and team spirit. Your flexibility, willingness to tackle challenges head-on, and can-do attitude have continued to make a world of difference.”

When asked how it feels to be rewarded for the hard work put in, Moira Dean – DUSA Retail Services Manager says, “Sustainability and Community are at the heart of everything we do and our success is everyone’s success, without the commitment, teamwork and belief of everyone involved in DUSA’s vision to create a Kinder, Greener, Diverse Global Student Community we could not do it”, and for that I have to say thank you.”

DUSA Volunteers are more than just a group of individuals working together – it’s a family where students find a sense of belonging and discover the true value of community.
The University of Dundee has advised us that, due to its own financial difficulties, there will be a 34% reduction in funding to your Students’ Association this year.
We are heartbroken by the tragic death of Dr Fortune Gomo, a graduate of our university who made her home here in Dundee. We stand with Dr Gomo’s family during this unimaginable loss. Fortune, you will not be forgotten.
