DUSA Shortlisted for the Living Wage Champion Awards
We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for an award in the Hospitality Champion category by the Living Wage Foundation.
As our newly appointed Vice President of Academia, a Bachelor of Science Biomedical Sciences, School of Life Sciences – Mubarak plays a crucial role in overseeing all academic matters and also deputises for the president during her absence. Mubarak’s primary focus lies in assisting students as they prepare for life after university, ensuring that no one is left behind in their academic journey. Moreover, he is passionate about fostering a vibrant campus experience by promoting a harmonious integration of academics and social interactions.Â

An interesting fact about Mubarak
Mubarak really enjoys sports, particularly combat sports. Spending time with animals with a particular fondness for kittens and having been privileged to live in 4 different countries in the past 7 years has endowed him with a rich tapestry of cultural experiences and perspectives.
