Get Out Get Active is a programme that runs across the UK and supports disabled and non-disabled people to enjoy being active together.
Get Out Get Active (GOGA) Tayside provides fun, free and inclusive physical activities for people of all abilities and ages with the aim of finding incidental ways to promote health and wellbeing. All GOGA activities are low intensity and designed to be fun to make it easier to get moving! All activities take place in ‘non-traditional’ settings to reduce barriers to participation.
DUSA is proud collaborate GOGA to bring Groove to the Air Bar every Wednesday between 2pm & 4pm (until the end of term).
As part of DUSA’s Wellbeing Wednesdays, GOGA are bringing dance sessions aimed at those who simply want to move more and have fun! The sessions are simple to follow, and no prior skills are required.
The sessions will include Zumba, Old Skool, Dance Fit and much more. You will also get the opportunity to socialise and enjoy a hot drink and/or some soup.
Whether you come along with friends or come to meet new people, moving to music is great for the mind and body!
There is no dress code, but comfy shoes are recommended. We look forward to seeing you there!
