If you haven’t seen it already, please have a read of the fantastic work that’s been put out by a group of students who’ve been passionately working in their own time on the Drug Crisis Community Action Project.
Here at DUSA it’s important to us to see such dedicated student led groups who seek to positively impact our student community and local city, as we all share the same environment.
I want to publicly thank these students for stepping up to help in a challenge that has negatively impacted so many people in Dundee and beyond. As students of the University and members of DUSA, I’m inspired by the way they’ve understood our strategies and aligned their work to the University’s Social Purpose and DUSA’s vision of being a kinder, greener, diverse global student community.
As the lead spokesperson for DUSA, I welcome this project and will alongside my executive committee seek to offer as much support as we can in taking forward this important initiative, working collaboratively with the University and other stakeholders. In doing so, we seek to build an effective and compassionate relationship with the project group and our wider student community to look at what we can do together on this important issue.
Many Thanks
