Statement on Framework for Sustainability and Success of Scotland’s Universities
We are now 15 months into a financial crisis at the University of Dundee, but the roots are much longer and go beyond recent years of local mismanagement.
We are disappointed by the Supreme Court’s ruling that “the terms woman and sex in the Equality Act 2010 refer to a biological woman and biological sex.”
We stand in solidarity with our trans community at Dundee. Your identity is valid, and we remain committed to ensuring your safety and your right to self-identify. Our campus is and always will be a safe and welcoming space for trans people
A rally will take place tomorrow in the City Centre at 12:45. We would encourage everyone whether you’re trans or an ally to attend and stand with our trans community.
If you are struggling with this news, please know you are not alone.
We have attached some resources below and you can always reach out to us at exec@dusa.co.uk for support.
With love and solidarity,
DUSA Exec

This year, the SRC looks a little different. We’ve had some students reach out with questions about the restructure, so we want to explain what’s changed and why.
DUSA Volunteers are more than just a group of individuals working together – it’s a family where students find a sense of belonging and discover the true value of community.
