Our President, Scott Quinn, who has worked tremendously hard the last two years as VPF, he will be responsible for leading the team to ensure that all student matters are tended to. His aim is to bring the student community together which in this current climate is more important than ever.

VP Academia, Martha Umeh Ude-Eze, is tremendously passionate about the student experience and will be an amazing champion for students working closely with the University to ensure students achieve as much as they can during their time in Dundee. She will listen to the needs of students and fight for them tirelessly.

VP Communications and Campaigns, Saffron-Louise Cook has worked for DUSA since her first year at University and has decided she likes it so much she could not bear to leave. Her main aim is to create a communication forum so that students can voice their opinions, concerns and have more say in what DUSA does.

VP Student Welfare, Lauren Macgregor is returning to her role after an amazing year supporting and championing student welfare. Her main aim this year will to be introduce a mental health charter at the University something which will provide better support for students throughout Dundee.

VP Representation, Rebecca Johnston was elected to her position in a completely online by-election, the first of its kind. Her experience as President of the Business school has cemented her in the representation wheel here at the University of Dundee, using her experience Rebecca aims to adapt the representation system ensuring that students can be heard.

VP Students Activities, Kellie Ioannou also re-elected to her role has elevated the society experience and she will continue to do so as we move to a more virtual start to the year. Not only has the number of societies grown since she took office, but she was monumental to securing funding for societies.

VP Engagement, Izuin Binti Abu Bakar, was in the position last year promoting campaigns and putting her smiling face on any DUSA stall she could. This year she wants to target as many distant learners as possible, especially now more of us are working from home, to ensure that their voice is heard, and they receive support.

VP Fundraising, Megan-Rose Birdsall, newly appointed to her non-sabbatical role she will have big shoes to fill but we know she will do an amazing job raising money and awareness for RAG’s new charity Tayside Children with Cancer and Leukaemia.
