The Dundee University Singapore Society is a place not only for Singaporeans to call their “home away from home”, but also for other nationalities to get to know Singaporeans and learn about our unique culture.
We welcome everyone from all walks of life to our various events, providing a safe space for everyone to feel included and at home. We also make an effort to get to know other societies of the University of Dundee, organising events with them as often as we can. An iconic example would be the Chinese New Year celebratory event (Feb 2022) where we collaborated with The Hong Kong society and Malaysian society, and this major celebration fueled our festive spirit despite being away from home. Besides working within the Dundee community, we work with other Singaporean societies in universities all over UK, allowing our members to establish connections and forge friendships.
