MedAID

Dundee Student MedAID is a student-run charity and society that collects unused, out-of-date equipment from local hospitals around Dundee. We then redistribute this equipment to resource-limited medical institutions around the world. The collected out-of-date medical equipment is donated and redistribution coordinated by medical students on electives, humanitarian health workers and other NGOs.
Our aim is to provide a platform to bridge the gap between waste in the NHS and shortage of medical equipment in resource-limited settings while advocating for increased sustainability in medicine and decreased healthcare inequalities worldwide. We would love for any enthusiastic students to join us!
