Freshers’ Festival ’21: JOSHUA ROBERTS + MORE (Mon 20 Sept)

Mono: Joshua Roberts (Funky and Uplifting House)

Joshua gained his first national break when he was crowned BBC Radio 1 ‘National Young DJ’, resulting in residencies with Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi. Since then, he’s stunned the masses at Ibizan superclubs Eden, El Divino, Privilege, Space and Es Paradis, along with regular performances at Ibiza Rocks, Sankeys and numerous party boats.

Festival Tent: Mark Ramsey DJ Set (Mash-up)

Mash-up is the genre that mixes different records together to create perfect harmony. It’s fun eclectic and manages to cater for a wide range of music tastes. Mark is a veteran of the Dundee club scene and was resident DJ at legendary nightclubs such as London and Fat Sam’s.

Airlie Place: Miami Funfair Ride (Free Rides – last entry 1:45am)

A festival isn’t a festival if it doesn’t feature at least one funfair ride, and the Miami is a modern fairground classic. Sit with your friends in a row then spin and twist around 360 degrees – scream if you wanna go faster!

Street Food Corner: Wild and Smoky (Texan BBQ)

Multi award-winning street food operators Wild & Smoky specialise in Texan BBQ. Pit Master, Walter brings you the best of BBQ inspired cuisine, including both vegan and vegetarian offerings.

The Liar Bar: Chris Comiskie (House)

All About House and Royal Nightclub resident DJ, Chris Comiskie, has created a buzz with his energetic sets throughout Scotland’s nightclubs. His first release “It Ain’t Right” has been very well received and picked-up by the some of Dance music’s biggest names including Calvin Harris.

As a condition of entry the ticket holder requires:

  • photographic ID verifying name and date of birth
  • an NHS COVID-19 Notification text message verifying a negative lateral flow test result on the day of the event
  • to be wearing a face-covering on arrival

Throughout September, we expect extremely high demand and for our events to sell-out. Therefore, we strongly advise you to buy your tickets now.

To comply with Test & Protect and minimise queuing on entry, tickets are limited to one per person.

You do not need to be a student to purchase a ticket, however non-students must be signed-in by a student who knows them.
