AES: Culture & Critical Practice Design Sprint

Monday 18 January : 10:00-12:00

Free
Students are invited to discuss and propose possible ways of organising academic activities within the proposed Walker-Geddes School.

These sessions are in relation to the ‘Academic Excellence and Structure’ consultation process, in which the merger of the Schools of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education & Social Work is being proposed. Students are invited to discuss and propose possible ways of organising academic activities within the proposed Walker-Geddes School should it go ahead.

These meetings with members of the University Executive Group and UoD Staff will explore how disciplines in the areas of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education & Social Work could contribute to teaching and what the areas of research focus might be.

Students are encouraged to attend the session relevant to their current area of study. Due to the nature of the sessions, places are limited, so we recommend to secure your place early. Students taking part in a joint programme are advised to only attend one session, but are welcome to give feedback relevant to both schools.

Your contact details will be passed along to the University, who will contact you directly with further details on taking part in the session.
