Dundee University Students’ Association remains number one for student experience in Scotland.

DUSA has retained its title as top students’ union in Scotland and overall, number one in the United Kingdom for cheapest shop/bar/amenities in The Time Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2016, once again proving that the association is leading in student experience.

Proud of this years continuing success, President of DUSA, Tim Hustler said “It is a real testament to the work of everyone at DUSA and I would like to personally thank everyone who has been involved. From the full time staff, to our 200+ student staff we employ. DUSA gets involved in all aspects of the student experience and all of it is student led, so the recent result shows what the students at Dundee are truly capable of.”

Reflecting on the overall results, Dominic Younger, Vice President of Communications and Campaigns noted that “The University has been making increased progress this year in tandem with DUSA towards increasing the student experience. Our enhanced partnership is integral to ensure that Dundee remains UK leading in student experience. Whilst it is a shame for the University, students should none the less take pride in the results which is overtly due to increased involvement of our student body within all our decision-making processes. In spite of growing financial adversity in the charity sector, we are proud to state we are top for student experience.”
