Mono is Dundee’s largest, safest and busiest nightclub and is open four days a week during the Semester. With three distinct areas Mono caters for both dance floor fanatics and those who prefer to chill out. Mono is also the cheapest nightclub in the city and, in a recent survey, was voted by Dundee University students as their favourite nightclub in Dundee.
Over the past few years Mono has hosted a wide range of headlining acts. Not only was Mono chosen to launch Radio 1’s Big Weekend in 2006, with Zane Lowe, The Kooks and The View live on national radio, it has also hosted sell-out performances from Newton Faulkner, Groove Armada, Mylo, Jaguar Skills, Biffy Clyro, BCM, Hed Kandi and SASH! Mono is a very popular venue with Radio 1 DJs and, over the last few years, the nightclub has played host to Fearne Cotton, Scott Mills, Vernon Kaye, Edith Bowman, Kissy Sell Out, Nihal, Trevor Nelson, Tim Westwood, Mistajam, Judge Jules, Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Skream and Huw Stephens.
And if TV shows are more your thing, don’t worry, Mono has been graced by stars from TOWIE, Made In Chelsea, Hollyoaks, Neighbours, Scrubs, Misfits, The Inbetweeners, Skins as well as a selection of X Factor winners, finalists and runners-up.
If you think you’re going to be visiting Mono on a regular basis (and believe us, you probably will) we strongly recommend you buy a VIP Pass. Not only will a VIP Pass get you into both our nightclubs for free on Friday and Saturday nights, it will also save you loads of cash with exclusive discounts on food and drinks.
