 Hello and Welcome

First of all I want to take this opportunity to both thank you for choosing the  University of Dundee and to congratulate you for making the grade in qualifying for this fine and diverse institution.

The years ahead will be both hectic and fun; although university is a time of intellectual challenges there’s also a lot of banter.  During your time here you will make lifelong friends and take decisions that will shape the rest of your lives.

Dundee University Students’ Association hosts a large number of clubs and societies and in terms of events we have something for everyone. Freshers’ Week will be your first chance to see what’s on offer and meet thousands of people from all over the world.  My advice is to embrace it all and take advantage of everything that is going on. Make sure you join a society, take up a sport and please get involved in student representation.  Dundee University Students’ Association is the sum of its members, we are your representatives and we need your input every step of the way.

My office is on Level 4 of the Union, please come and find me if you have any ideas or even problems and I’ll see what I can do.  We have a team of experts on Campus and if there’s something I can’t help you with then I’ll find you someone who can.

Regardless of what you study, whether you’re a dentist, a lawyer or a historian, I wish you the best of luck in everything that happens to you in Dundee.  I hope to see you during the months ahead in the meantime get involved and get active.

See you soon

Andrew
President
Dundee University Students’ Association
