The Dundee University Anime Art Society is a new society run for students of Dundee University interested in animation and the artwork behind the games and films. The society promotes individual student artwork and organizes lecture hall viewings of notable pieces of animation. Although only in its first year our main aim is to work towards a cross-society event to be held annually.

D-Con was held in February and is only the second anime-art convention of its kind held in Scotland. It proved to be a great success, promoting participation from society members in collaboration with other societies and professionals working in the animation industry.
